India International Science Festival (IISF) was held at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (NPL) Campus in New Delhi from 7-11 December, 2016. The event was organised by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences in association with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) with a aim to promote the science and technology developed by the Indian research labs and to inculcate the scientific temper among masses. The event inaugurated by the Home Minister ShriRajnath Singh.
At IISF, Ministry of Earth Sciences pavilion was inaugurated by Dr.Madhavan Nair Rajeevan, Honourable Secretary, MoES. The pavilion was set up to show major activities of MoES institutes. Two delegates (Dr. Swati Nagar, project Scientist (outreach activities) and Mr.Ajit Singh, SRF) were participated in the IISF to represent NCPOR major activities.
