Exciting Release: NCPOR Launches First Comic Book on Polar Sciences on website

The National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR) proudly announces the release of its very first comic book titled "Polar Sciences: A Peek into NCPOR". Aimed at offering a captivating glimpse into India’s polar research, the comic is now available for download on the NCPOR website. NCPOR, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, plays a pioneering role in the nation's Polar Programs, facilitating research in the Arctic, Antarctica, and the Southern Ocean.

The comic, authored by NCPOR's own scientists, Dr. Ravidas Naik and Dr. Abhilash Nair (who also created the stunning illustrations), brings to life the fascinating work of Indian researchers in the polar realms. Designed to engage young minds and bridge the gap between science and society, this creative venture is part of NCPOR’s Scientific Social Responsibility.

The comic has been translated into English, Hindi, and Konkani to reach wider audiences.
