Objectives
(a) To reconstruct the past climate variability at high-resolution at different timescales using natural archives such as the sediment cores from the Southern Ocean, the lakes of Antarctica and the fjords of Svalbard
(b) past sea surface temperature, sea surface salinity and productivity changes on decadal to Century-scale through Quaternary period
(c) Ice shelf advancement and retreat through the Quaternary period.
