The Director, NCPOR  Dr. Thamban Meloth flagged off the Indian expedition to the Greenland Sea and Denmark Strait on 17 July 2025. A 9-member team will undertake a 15-day ocean-atmosphere observations cruise aboard RV Skagerak, operated by the University of Gothenburg,Sweden.This mission is supported by ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation's Space Application Centre, Ahmedabad and National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting, Noida through satellite data and ocean forecasts.
