A Tree for Tomorrow: NCPOR’s Green Tribute on World Environment Day 2025, To mark World Environment Day2025 under the theme Beat Plastic Pollution, NCPOR staff came together for a special tree plantation drive titled “एक पेड़ माँ के नाम” — a heartfelt initiative dedicated to nurturing both Mother Earth and the spirit of nurturing—a simple yet powerful act of green commitment.

Led by Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director, NCPOR, along with senior scientists and staff, over 90 saplings were planted across the campus. The trees included fruit-bearing, medicinal, and ornamental species—each one a living promise of a greener and healthier future. Let’s continue to grow green ideas and take action for the planet we all share.
