On May 2, as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, staff from the MoES-National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), took part in a beach cleanup drive at Baina Beach to promote awareness about coastal cleanliness. Committed to environmental conservation, the team removed 15 large jute bags filled with assorted litter, including plastic waste, discarded fishing ropes, worn-out footwear, and empty gutka sachets from the shoreline.
