The Silver Jubilee celebrations of NCPOR began  on 3rd april 2025 with great enthusiasm, honored by the presence of Padma Shri Dr. Harsh K Gupta, Former Secretary, Dept. of Ocean Development, and President of Geological Society of India as Chief Guest. The event brought together distinguished leaders, including former Secretaries, Directors of MoES institutions, and NCPOR staff. Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director, NCPOR, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished dignitaries. The gathering was addressed by Dr. Harsh K. Gupta, followed by felicitation speeches from Dr. Shailesh Nayak, Director, NIAS and Former Secretary, MoES, and Dr. P.C. Pandey, Founding Director of NCPOR.
