On the sidelines of the 15th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting, National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), MoES and UAE Polar Mission Office exchanged a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Secretary to the Govt. of India, Dr M Ravichandran,MoES and HE Abdulla Balalaa on Polar Research Collaboration on 13 Dec 2024.This partnership highlights the shared commitment of India and the UAE to sustainable development, impactful climate action, and advancing knowledge in polar science.The MoU facilitates cooperation in polar operations, scientific research, academic exchanges, and capacity building, promoting governance and environmental protection in the Polar Regions.Together, we aim to create a brighter, sustainable future for the planet while contributing to global scientific and climate objectives.
