NCPOR organised a felicitation ceremony for Dr. Shailesh Nayak, Director, National Institute of Advanced Studies & Former Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Earth Sciences, for receiving the prestigious Padma Shri Award in Science & Engineering. Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director NCPOR, honoured Dr. Nayak for this remarkable achievement.

This recognition celebrates Dr. Nayak's significant contributions to climate change, weather services, polar science, geoscience, and oceanography, as well as his leadership in science diplomacy and sustainable development.
