Dr. Thamban Meloth has been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India for 2020

Dr. Thamban Meloth, Scientist-G and Group Director (Polar Sciences) has been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India for 2020 for his contributions on polar cryosphere and climate change. He has pioneered the ice core based climate research in India, with a focus on decadal to multi-decadal variability in Antarctic climate and its global teleconnections.
