Science Day Celebration at NCPOR

Science Day celebrated at NCPOR with the theme 'Women in Science' highlighting the women's contribution. Director I/c, Sh. M. Javed Beg & Dr. Rahul Mohan shared their opinion on the theme. Dr. Runa Anthony highlighted the journey of women in polar research. On this occasion, a film 'The Climate Challenge' & website (www.climatechallenge.in) by Sh. Rakesh Rao was released by Sh. M. Javed Beg. The film is about the challenges being faced by the scientists to study the climate change in Polar Regions. The celebration ended with the discussion on the film 'The Climate Challenge' followed by vote of thanks by Dr. Rahul Mohan.
