Ms. Archana Dayal, Junior Research Fellow in the Cryospheric Science Division, NCAOR has been awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship. This will take her through a 3 year PhD programme at the University of Sheffield (UK) with fieldwork in the Arctic. Archana will become part of an internationally known “Climate and Cryosphere Group” at Sheffield, wherein she along with her group of researchers would work on biogeochemical processes of the Arctic environment.
